I am always on the go, there is always something new to explore or to
try. To keep me busy my husband and I bought a house. No, not for me to
clean it but to build it. Well, not exactly build it, but, you know...
When we first came from Germany in 2004, we wanted to explore any facets
of England. And what is more English than DIY? Of course we already
tried watching rugby, polo and Doctor Who. Love it!
I started singing in an a capella ensemble at school when I was 14 years
old. There I got 'infected' and soon decided to study classical singing
instead of piano as I had planned before. I studied at the Conservatoire
of Enschede in the Netherlands. I love singing everywhere and anytime.
I've performed in various operas and musicals singing
diverse roles like the mother in Hansel and Gretel, Cherubino in Marriage
of Figaro and Winnifred in Once upon a Mattress. At the moment I also
sing with the BBC National Chorus of Wales and Bristol Opera. When there
is time left I even work! As a singing teacher.
My biggest strength: Oh, I love laughing!
My teeny tiny weakness: Apart
from chocolate? I am annoyingly impatient!
